Our stay in the stables rooms was absolutely mind-blowing. The cottage was superbly equipped with top-notch fittings and appliances. The plunge pool on the deck, along with the sun loungers and gas braai, provided us with hours of jaw-dropping relaxation while overlooking the stunning pear orchards. All the essentials for a fantastic self-catering stay were provided. The hosts were incredibly helpful throughout our visit. We are definitely planning on coming back for another incredible experience!

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The cottage was compact but perfect for our family of four and the grounds were beautifully secluded. We couldn't believe how comfortable the beds were and the well-equipped kitchen was a pleasant surprise. The rain shower was fantastic and the added security alarm gave us peace of mind. The pool and vegetable garden were super fun for the kids to explore, and we loved the boule garden too. Plus, the location was unbeatable, with wineries just a short 20-minute drive away. an incredible stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this coastal retreat, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the comfortable facilities. the cottage we stayed in was spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed, with a large bathtub and cozy beds. We loved spending time on the terrace, taking in the breathtaking views. the owners were thoughtful and left a bottle of their delicious wine, a lovely touch. the homemade cordial was also a delightful surprise. Can't wait to come back and experience this little slice of heaven again!

We absolutely loved our stay at La Chataigne! The infinity plunge pool was a fantastic bonus and we enjoyed it immensely. The views from the apartment were stunning, especially during sunsets. We appreciated being able to cook our own meals with the well-equipped kitchen. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the apartment was spotlessly clean. The ability to pick our own herbs and veggies from the garden was a delightful touch, as was exploring the vineyard. We would highly recommend this place to others.
We felt very welcome during our stay at La Chataigne and had no reason to complain.

My recent stay at La Chataigne was absolutely fantastic. The location and setting of the cottages are beautiful, providing a peaceful escape from the city. The one-bedroom cottage I stayed in was stunningly appointed and had a simple yet stylish design that I loved. It was the perfect cocoon for me to work in during my stay. The property had everything I needed, including a well-designed kitchen. Despite it being winter, I still enjoyed the stunning pool in the vineyard clearing, overlooking the breathtaking Franschhoek mountains. The large indoor fireplace made it a cozy winter getaway. I loved every minute of my stay and would highly recommend La Chataigne.
Although my overall experience was amazing, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The welcome instructions were a bit limited, causing some confusion with the alarm system.

I recently stayed at La Chataigne and it was a wonderful experience. The cozy cottage felt like a home away from home, with everything looking exactly like the photos. The staff, especially Louise, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs, with two bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. We loved the spaciousness and the beautiful views. The highlight was definitely the deck with the private splash pool - it was so serene and tranquil. We even decided to cook and stay in instead of going out because we loved the cottage so much. it was a perfect stay and I would definitely come back.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Amazing views and private pool made our honeymoon perfect. the modern room with breathtaking mountain views was outstanding. the owners' lovely touch of a bottle of Rose was unforgettable. We have already recommended this trip to friends and this is the only place to stay.
The heat made our cottage extremely stuffy, but thankfully the amazing pool was a welcome relief.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay in a cozy and comfortable cottage at this wine farm. We loved the romantic setting, with the river on one side and the vineyard on the other. the cottage had a massive bathroom and a fireplace, perfect for chilly evenings. We also enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the convenience of being a short drive away from town. the pool was a definite winner, and we made use of the braai and vegetable garden facilities.
Some aspects of the kitchen were not as practical as they could have been.

A little spot of heaven: A beautiful, clean cottage with amazing views and cozy verandahs. The homemade cordial was divine! Just a tiny downside: finding worms in the cottage, what a delightful surprise!

We stayed in the very nice Chestnut house with a big bed, a fine bathroom, and an okay kitchen. The location is perfect if you want privacy near a wine field. Light the fire and enjoy a book without TV. The staff is friendly and we would definitely come back! I highly recommend this hotel.
